The World Shapes Workshop

Discover the World Shapes workshop in Seignosse: where Alessandro Pierre surfboards are born. Handcrafted shaping, glassing and quality control.

The Factory

Production

Every Alessandro Pierre surfboard is born in our Seignosse workshop. From blank cutting to final quality control, everything is done in-house by our team.

We produce our surfboards in our own factory based in Seignosse. The workshop has been built with modern tools and enough space for our team, friends and family. The production line is based on Alessandro Pierre's years of knowledge.

From shape to ocean

Every step matters

01

Shaping

Alessandro hand-shapes every board combining AkuShaper technology with an artisanal finish. The rocker, rails, concave: every detail is adjusted to the millimeter.

Sanding

After glassing, each board is hand-sanded to achieve a perfectly smooth surface. It's meticulous work requiring precision and patience: tolerances are measured in fractions of a millimeter.

Finishing Touches

The final touch: logos, stickers and fin plugs are applied. Alessandro checks every detail before signing off. This is when the board truly comes to life.

Quality Control

Every surfboard which is finished in production gets a final quality control to ensure we are 100% happy with the result.
